The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland understanding the sorrow
of the Quinn family over the murder of the children nevertheless
deplores the linkage by the Chief Constable of the brutal
murders with the legitimate protest by the Portadown Orange
District.
Grand Lodge calls for a report of the Social Services under
The Children Order to be published and urges that the inquest
into their tragic deaths may be speedily held.
We condemn superficial and irresponsible reporting by the
media which inferred that the Orange Institution was involved
and ignored the clear involvement of terrorists and drug dealing.
