The Officers and Committee of Portadown District L.O.L. No.1
view with disgust the recent reported finding, by members
of the R.U.C., of sixteen crates of bottles destined for use
as petrol bombs on the Garvaghy Road, Portadown.
Following as it does the events of Saturday 30 May in the
area when young members, aged between nine and twelve, of
the Junior Orange Association were met on their return from
Bangor by violence from the nationalists and republicans the
question must be asked what does the political process mean
for those individuals perpetrating such trouble on the Garvaghy
Road?
