The role that Orangemen have played in the services over
the years will be brought to the fore in an exhibition being
staged at Orange headquarters in Belfast.
Schomberg House will be the venue for an amazing array of
artefacts and text detailing 'battles beyond the Boyne' from
the Crimean War through to more recent times.
The exhibition will assemble, in one place, for the first
time ever, material often not seen outside the lodge room
or beyond the annual Twelfth parade.
The event will coincide with the 60th anniversary of the
Normandy Landings and will be open to the public between 2
p.m. and 4 p.m. each weekday afternoon from June 3 until July
16, and on selected evenings.
